Boa tarde a todos.
Após pesquisar no Google e não encontrar nada, pergunto se alguém sabe como abrir / fazer restore de ficheiros BKF no Windows 8?
Obrigado.
tenta isto
"I too was caught out by Windows 8 not being able to read the bkf files made by XP's ntbackup. If you have the files from an XP installation, you can follow the method shown here to retrieve the 3 files needed: ntbackup.exe, vssapi.dll, ntmsapi.dll
In my case, the Windows 8 installer put the XP Windows files, and others, in C:\Windows.old & the files required were in C:\Windows.old\WINDOWS\system32\.
Copy the 3 files somewhere (else you get dll errors), say to your home folder:
Run ntbackup.exe. Ignore the warning about Removable Storage. Ntbackup mostly works, though I wasn't able to save selections. There were errors in the log when restoring about not being able to create folders, but it looks like they were created anyway.
If you don't have an XP installation but do have an XP installation CD, you can do this:
1) copy ntbackup.ex_, vssapi.dl_ and ntmsapi.dl_ from the \i386 folder on the CD to your home folder.
2) Open a command (DOS) prompt
3) Run these DOS commands to expand the files
expand NTBACKUP.EX_ NTBACKUP.EXE
expand NTMSAPI.DL_ NTMSAPI.DLL
expand VSSAPI.DL_ VSSAPI.DLL

Certo.
Vou testar.
Já agora sabes qual a razão que não se consegue fazer restauro de ficheiros BKF em Win8 de um modo fácil, assim como se faz em WinXP e Win7?
