Boas pplware...
é assim fiz uma galeria de fotos no frontpage e não funciona no firefox no IE funciona bem...
mas n firefox nda... o k acontece é k em vez de me mostrar so algumas miniaturas das fotos e ter de se clicar na seta para elas avançar não... aparecem as miniaturas das fotos todas seguidas..
alguem pode ajudar??

É esse o problema de ferramentas como o frontpage que podem ser fáceis de usar, mas a facilidade no final dá mais trabalho que um site construido como deve ser numa ferramenta como deve ser.

O Frontpage gera-te código html desorganizado, e confuso com tags embutidas que não são necessárias para nada e não cumprem standards, servindo apenas que só podem ser interpretadas pelo Internet Explorer, levando ao problema que descreves.

Parece-me que queres fazer uma galeria de fotos, não seria mais fácil criares uma conta, em sites gratuitos como facebook ou flickr (entre os vários disponíveis), que ja te fazem isso? Ou queres mesmo aprender a fazer sites? é que se assim for, responde com o ficheiro html anexado e pode ser que alguém aqui tenha paciencia para te ver o código Wink

o firefox e CSS tem sempre problemas é claro que hoje são menos mas mesmo assim tem algumas incompatibilidades.

Tenta usar outro programa sem ser da M$ e cria a tua propria galeria de fotos e vais ver que o firefox já a abre normalmente

Porque não usas o Picasa, da Google? Ele faz as galerias e é compativel com qualquer browser recente Wink

O Firefox lida bastante melhor com CSS, CSS2 e CSS3 do que o Internet Explorer... Wink

O problema do FrontPage é criar páginas com código que não respeita os standards W3C e que, como tal, funcionam no IE mas raramente noutros browsers.

Podes, como disse o Zeon, criar o slideshow com o Picasa, já que este usa Flash e não ActiveX.

Tens imensas "tags" fora de ordem. Aí em cima está um exemplo onde fechas a tag </tr> antes da </div>. Pessoalmente não programo em HTML, mas não faz sentido nenhum fechar as tags assim (Alguém mais experiente em HTML que confirme). Talvez o Firefox não goste disso...
Tentei corrigir isso, mas são tantas que acabei por me perder.

Para quem não sabe, o FrontPage foi criado para funcionar DE PROPÓSITO só no Internet Explorer. Foi criado na altura das guerras entre o netscape e o IE, e continua até hoje. Basicamente só os meninos da escola é que usam aquilo.

Se queres um conselho, aprende a programar e faz as tuas páginas no notepad. Com o Firefox+Firebug tens tudo o que precisas.

Dreamweaver sempre é melhor que o FrontPage. E mais imparcial... Infelizmente sofre do problema comum a todos os editores de páginas web com interface visual, gera muito código desnecessário. Eu uso-o na mesma porque desenho os meus sites primeiro no Photoshop e depois exporto pra Dreamweaver tudo impecável, mas depois dou as limadelas no código. O que aconcelho é aprenderes os básico de html e css antes de fazeres seja o que for.
